University of San Diego picks StatMonitr for 2012-2013 school year

SAN DIEGO, CALIF. -- The University of San Diego and StatBroadcast Systems have reached agreement to use the StatMonitr media stats system and wireless stat monitors for on-campus athletic events during the 2012-2013 school year.

The University of San Diego is a private university located in San Diego, Calif. with an enrollment of 8,300 students. The San Diego Toreros sponsor 17 varsity sports and are members of the West Coast Conference, winning the conference's Commissioner's Cup in the last four consecutive seasons. For football, the Toreros compete in the FCS Subdivision as a member of the Pioneer Football League.

USD is the eighth WCC school to use the StatMonitr system. The WCC also uses StatBroadcast at its annual basketball tournaments.
